Focus on Financial Recovery
Having served as mayor during the Great Recession, I am committed to managing city finances and streamlining government while maintaining valued city services by prioritizing public safety, capital investments, supporting local businesses, and leveraging public/private partnerships. Read More Here.

Environment, Climate Change, and Resiliency

Social Equity and Social Justice Today we need to move forward with tangible, well thought out progress toward greater justice while avoiding divisive rhetoric and polarization. Emergency Preparedness, Response & Resilience
The COVID-19 emergency and resulting economic crisis have driven home the reality that, sooner or later, emergencies happen. They can take the form of ones we think most probable, earthquakes or floods, or something less expected, like this pandemic.
